We will have the honour and pleasure of hosting His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos of Australia as he will be officiating at our vespers service this year.

His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos of Australia FEASTAL VESPERS SERVICE FOR ST THERAPONThe Vespers is the first service conducted to honour a particular feast day of our church and it usually occurs the night before the feast day. It is a beautiful service whereby we hear hymns about our saint and his feastal dismissal hymn or ‘apolytikion’ is first heard.

His Eminence will preach about the meaning of our patronal feast and bless the faithful through the distribution of the feastal bread (αρτοκλασία).

Afterwards coffee, sandwiches and lokoumades (honey puff donuts) will be served in the Hall.
