Light Your Candle at St Therapon

A warm welcome. Lighting candles is an ancient tradition of the Church. In lighting a candle, we are reminded of the words of Christ who said “I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).

Lighting a candle can be a helpful way to pray for your own health and for the well-being of your family and friends. You can do this here online. You might wish to light an online candle for a loved who has departed for Heaven.

An online candle will help you think about them and pray for all those who miss them. Follow each step to light a candle now.

We encourage you to submit the names of the living and the departed with your candle so that our priests can pray for them during the Divine Liturgy services. Please list the Christian or first names ONLY of those for whom you would like our priests to pray for in the Holy Altar.
